Congratulations Cohort 3 Equity Fellow! We are excited for you to join our collective journey towards becoming a more equitable and anti-racist district. Below is an overview of information shared during the January launch.

Goals of the Equity Fellows Experience

  1. Build a community of leaders who grow and develop racial-identity, liberatory consciousness and culturally responsive praxis.

  2. Individually empower you to leverage your racial identity into promising culturally responsive practices that can authentically live in school communities.

  3. Create a “safe-container” for you to practice engaging in courageous conversations, calling out inequity, and calling in potential collaborators/partners with power and influence.

  4. Honor the different entry points for each of you individually, and the learning environment you represent.

  5. Align our direct work with students and families to the New York State Integration Grant goals.
